POTTERY EXPERIENCE in MUTAMBA
Located at Jangamo district, around 90km from Tofo, the Mutamba River brings what local artisans needs to make their pottery art and design.
Do you like manual works? Do you want to take a special handmade souvenier for someone special home? This is your chance. Mutamba area is home of Pottery makers such as the Josina Machel Association, founded in 2012 - famous for their fine sculpting clay to make adornments and souvenirs objects; and LIBUMBA shop art & craft makers, specialized in mixing tradition with contemporary techniques.
Come and experience yourself the art of working with clay, make your own souvenir to remind and take a piece of that magic moment in Mutamba.
Meet the local factories of bricks existing in the region, understand and experience their daily work and sample the culture found in a local lunch under the shadow of a typical Mozambican tree - mafurreira - while listening to the most enchanting stories of African tradition, particularly the Mozambican Bitonga Tribe.
This tour requires a minimum of 3 people.
Transfers are needed and must be shared between participants as an extra cost (minimum 20Usd/person).
